SweetHouse Bake Shop

When we thought about wedding cake, the two most important aspects were that we could have interesting flavors and no fondant. We only sampled Erika's cakes and immediately booked her. She has SO many flavors of cake and icing. She sent us a list and we choose 6 to sample. It was hard to only pick the six!! When we arrived, she had a lovely presentation of her cupcakes. My best lady and I picked took some bites of each then took the rest home to my fiance. He agreed with what our picks were - pumpkin spice with cinnamon and nutmeg icing and Samoa. The cakes were both so moist and dense. Erika's icing is perfect. I am not a big fan of buttercream and hers has the best consistency and touch of sweetness. I sent her a few pictures of what we had in mind - we weren't too into having some complicated design or anything and mainly cared that it tasted delicious (it's going to be cut up and eaten). She presented us with a BEAUTIFUL cake. It tasted as great as it looked. All of guests were so impressed. We also ordered some mini cheesecakes - I can't speak to their deliciousness because they were gone in a flash! I imagine they were pretty good for them to be gone before dinner was even over. The Sweethouse Bake Shop is a lovely place to visit as well. It is inside a Victorian House.

I got my grooms cake from the SweetHouse, and it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I still can't believe how great a value it was, she charged me less than half what all the other bakers quoted me, and it looked amazing! I'm posting a picture on here now, and you can't miss it, it's the Nintendo cake! USE THIS BAKERY!

The cupcakes for my wedding were wonderful....had a small issue with a few and when I called to them about the issue I wasn't 100% pleased with the reaction I got from them, but all in all they were excellent!!

Our cake was one of my favorite parts of our wedding! The flavors at Sweet House are so amazing (we chose pumpkin spice, caramel apple for our wedding cake, and peanut butter & jelly for our groom's cake). Erika is so great to work with and helped make the day of our wedding stress-free. I highly recommend!

i had mini cupcakes with a small cake for cutting as well as some cookies. they were absolutely amazing! they looked great and tasted even better. they did an amazing job from start to finish. very easy to work with. i got a lot of compliments and would recommend them to anyone!

Erika is amazing. I had a food allergie at the wedding and the wish to have the chocolate seprate from vanilla was respected. Everyone really enjoyed the cupcakes. We did not get one unfortunately but from the taste testing I am sure they were delish!! Thank you for taking our vision and making it possible, even with the cake, it was amazing and perfect!

This place was amazing! Erica, one of the owners, was so helpfull to us. We went with minature cupcakes, and a small cake for on top to cut for that part of the ceremony. the cupcakes were the most beautiful and delicious little things I have ever scene or tasted!! It was really important to me that they actually tasted as good as they looked, and WOW, they did not disappoint!! I had over 25 cake flavors, buttercream icings, and fillings, individually to choose from. It was so much fun, and hard work deciding on all the different combinations that I could choose from. Everyone raved about them! They were displayed so beautifully as well, a tower of yummy cupcakes!
