Rhaina Taylor provided my husband and I with some of the most beautiful wedding photos that we have ever seen. A number of our family and friends, although happy for us, expressed their jealousy over the quality and artistic superiority of our photographs compared to their own wedding photos. Rhaina did an excellent job as my wedding photographer! At our first meeting, Rhaina really listened to what I had to say about what I wanted for the pictures and it really showed. She and her assistants were extremely professional the entire day, and made the wedding party and all of the guests very comfortable. The first time I saw Rhaina's work I knew that she would be my wedding photographer. However, I continued to do my homework on her because I knew that I had only one chance to document my wedding the way I wanted it. I viewed numerous examples of Rhaina's work, spoke with others that had worked with her before, and even attended her gallery opening when she was voted one of Pittsburgh's "50 Finest." With that said, Rhaina exceeded my expectations when I had her travel to Newport, Rhode Island to document my rehearsal dinner and wedding in June of 2008. As an extra surprise, Rhaina had to contend with some very challenging weather and potential emotional melt downs when we discovered my gown was stained and butchered by my seamstress! Rhaina kept everything calm, reassured me that we could work around the gown and ultimately provided me with some of the best wedding photos I have ever seen! I am constantly asked who my photographer was because people can't believe how much my pictures look like something out of a bridal magazine.Her prices are very competitive, and her work is exquisite. I think every bride has a vision of what she wants on her wedding day and it was important to me to find a photographer who could help capture every moment of our special day. My husband and I did not want a lot of "posed" pictures. Instead, we wanted fluid shots that portrayed every emotion we had, and a lot of "in the moment" shots. I used Rhaina for the first time at my wedding in July of 2007. After the first meeting with her I knew she was the photographer for me. First she provided me with a sheet to record specific pictures that I wanted taken at some point during the day. Then she would recommend other pictures that she thought I might have wanted and forgot to mention (but she did not push anything on me). Finally she assured me that I had nothing to worry about. When my day finally came Rhaina was right there documenting everything from getting my hair done in the morning, to the men playing basketball before the ceremony, to the massive reception at the end of the night. I have had the honor of using Rhaina Taylor photography for several occasions. She photographed pregnancy portraits, newborn portraits, and family portraits for us that are beautiful and adorn many walls in our home. Our wedding portaits though are, by far, the most amazing ones of all. We had an outdoor wedding and reception full of vibrant colors. She had to negotiate constantly changing light as the day wore on from mid day to night. All of the photos (black and white and color) were incredible. Every experience we've had with Rhaina has exceeded our expectations of professionalism, affordability, and most important quality. She was always well organized and efficient. She was equally adept at holding the attention of a child as she was at keeping the flow of large group photos moving effortlessly. Rhaina is a WONDERFUL and talented photographer...My husband and I found Rhaina through a mutual friend and she was the best investment! We were married in June of last year at the Carnegie Museum and not only was Rhaina and her “team” with us hours before the event, they were there snapping pictures up until the second we left. Everything was handled very professionally and Rhaina was great to work with….GET HER WHILE YOU CAN!

Rhaina and her assistant covered our wedding with great ease. Using many picture subjects, including about one hundred family members, the two got shots that we could not have imagined and we had some tough relatives to please. They handled our families beautifully. Finally, the pictures were absolutely gorgeous! The color shots and the black and whites were perfect! My favorite thing was that our crazy families could go online (without bugging us for "the proof book") and order their own pictures. As a newly wed couple, trust me, you will appreciate this perk!

I used Rhaina Taylor Photography for my New Year's Eve wedding and it was a great experiece for me and my husband. We had a very large wedding party consisting of 14 attendants on both sides, plus a very large wedding (over 325) and Rhaina Taylor and her crew worked with us on every last detail.
