Gorgeous, amazing pictures!!!! All my friends and family could not believe how many wonderful pics we had to chose from...made picking for the album very hard because there were SO MANY we loved. They are not your typical "posey", cheesy wedding shots...they are very unique and really tell a story of your day. Mike is very easy-going and flexible. He blended in with the scenery on the wedding day so we didn't always feel like there was a camera in our face :) I would definitely recommend and am glad we made the investment!

Purvis Photography did an amazing job on our wedding! My husband is a professional photographer, so we decided early on that photos of our wedding day would be a top priority. Mike Purvis delivered! He was professional, warm to our family and friends, and he accommodated our requests. Everyone has raved about our photos, and we love them, too!

Mr. Purvis is truly skilled at his profession. I have had several friends who married before me that used other photographers. When they saw our wedding pictures their first comments were usually " I wish we had know Mr. Purvis when we got married!" The end product justifies the cost.

Working with Purvis Photography was a great experience. I told him what type of pictures I wanted and he made sure to capture it! He took a variety of pictures, angles and details, when viewing the pictures it is like living our wedding day all over again.

Mike Purvis was pleasant and easy to work with. He was clearly knowledgeable about his craft and very good at it. We were very pleased with his work and recommended him to friends and family who celebrated events after ours and needed a photographer. My only regret--if there is a particular shot that you want--make sure you mention it to him. As with any photojournalist-type photographer--they really try to capture your event as the story unfolds. Sometimes, shots that may be important or sentimental to you may not be capture--to no fault of the photgrapher. Mike was very responsive and had I remembered to tell him of a particular shot to capture--I'm sure he would have got it. That said--the pictures we did get were absolutely beautiful and unique. We could not be happier!

Purvis Photography, lead by Mike Purvis, was truly wonderful to work with. The effort and creativity displayed by Mike and Sommer the day of the wedding was one of the most memorable parts of our day. Mike and Sommer's flexibility and professionalism throughout the day helped to make our day perfect. The end product, the album, was breath-taking; we were left speechless. We really enjoyed the photographs. He took whatever pictures we wanted and more. Every picture was nice and there were a lot of different ones that you would only see in magazines.

We chose Mike because of his background in photojournalism and his artistic sense. We wanted our wedding to be captured naturally and organically as opposed to the unnatural posed photos typical of most weddings we've been to. He and his assistant were barely noticeable in the background throughout the event but the photos they captured were amazing. He is not cheap by any means but, if you are looking to capture your day in the form of top-shelf action photography that looks like it could be in an art or design mag and money is no object, he's someone I'd highly recommend.

Overall we were very satisfied with our experience with Purvis Photography....Photographers were very discreet at our wedding and the photographs turned out beautiful. The only frustration was when it came time to receive our album, my husband and I had to practically create it ourselves in order to get it the way we wanted......However, in the end would recommend Purvis Photo to a friend.
