I chose Pretty Hair Salon for my make up on my wedding day having already scheduled a hair stylist. I came to do my make up trial and provided the stylist with a photograph as reference even though I was still a bit confused. I was set on airbrush make up which I have had before and loved. The stylist did not recommend airbrush and they did not have it in stock so we used regular foundation. At the end of the trial, I looked in the mirror to discover that I looked like I was going to a elementary dance recital! My foundation was not the color of my skin and it was not evenly applied. My eyelashes were way too long with the extensions. Lastly, my eye make up was soooo dark. It is way more than the picture that I showed. When I mentioned it was too dark, she just put more of something on rather than taking anything off. It looked no different. I was so shocked, I paid and left thinking maybe the lighting was horrible and I just need to look at it at home. My parents and bridesmaids and friends all told me that I looked horrible. They were right. I was not provided a refund and lost $100 for the trial. It is unfortunate and I do not recommend this salon for make up.

I hired Pretty Hair Salon to do hair for my bridal party after reading online reviews and hearing from friends about their work. It was important that we hire someone to come to my parents’ home on the wedding day; I loved having that time at friends’ past weddings and it was really necessary to help with time constraints. I met with Heather for my hair trial and knew immediately that she would do an excellent job. She listened to my ideas and concerns about my wedding day hair and was able to interpret exactly what I was looking for. Heather and Kala came to the house on the wedding day- they were prompt and totally at ease in the work space. A huge plus- they were so on time with everyone that we ended up ahead of schedule! When I decided to make a minor change to my hair they ran with it and did an awesome job. Everyone was completely happy with their hair and I loved mine (I wish my hair could look that amazing every day). They did an incredible job and I know who I will go to anytime I need something special.

Went for trial run and paid full price for half the effort. when i asked about the trial run being this way they said that it was bc they were only trying to a get a "feel for my hair texture and make up" when i left my trial run my hair fell out in 2hrs and my make up -- well my eyes burning from the huge line of black eyeliner they had put on -- and when i told them i didnt like it they kept saying it would be different the day of the wedding. -- i paid full price ($120) for this trial run -- i want it done right. i did not end up using them for my day of my wedding. they did offer to redo the trial run for free. but i declined. they lost my business and all of my bridesmaids.

My hair, eyelashes and make-up looked gorgeous! I received tons of compliments. Only complaint, my hair looked a bit too hair sprayed, and I wanted a more natural look.

I loved my updo but thought the cost was a bit high.

Pretty Hair Salon was absolutely wonderful for my wedding day. Not only was it so simple to schedule the appointments, I knew I could trust their expertise when I wasn't sure how much time we would need. We finished on time, right on schedule and were able to get in the all important meal before the ceremony! My girls and I had such a wonderful time with the girls there and we were so relaxed for the rest of the day! Everyone looked fantastic for the entire ceremony and throughout the evening.

They are very easy to work with. They know what will look best for you on your big day and they are so helpful!
