I heard from Pittsburgh Makeup from a friend and saw the end results on her wedding day. I knew I had to book them for mine!!! I had the pleasure of working with Lyndsie on my wedding day who came to my location of choice to assist me in getting ready. I felt beautiful and the makeup really added to the pictures. Julie was a pleasure to contact, very professional!!!

Julie did makeup for myself and my bridesmaids on my wedding day. She arrived on location on time and was very professional. I absolutely loved my make-up as well as my bridesmaids make-up. I had the airbrush done and it lasted all night! Thanks again, Julie!

I worked with Lyndsie from Pittsburgh Makeup and she was great. She did my makeup as well as the makeup for 4 of my bridesmaids and my mother. She traveled to meet us while we were getting our hair done, saving precious time and making the day less stressful. She did a beautiful job and my husband loved how I looked that day!

I couldn't be happier with the service from Julie at Pittsburgh Makeup. I am not normally one to wear a lot of makeup, so when I went in for my trial I really had no idea where to start. She helped me figure out exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. I never felt like I had caked on makeup. It felt completely natural all day. She was truly a doll to work with and I can't wait to book a makeup lesson with her.

Julie did a fabulous job with my makeup, as well as my mothers, and some other bridesmaids! Everyone looked beautiful! She has such a sweet personality and does a wonderful job with makeup. She was very easy to work with as well. I was very pleased with everything and would highly recommend her for your special day!!

Julie was wonderful. She did a perfect job on my maids and I. We were all very happy and it truly did last all night. She listened to what everyone wanted and liked. She even made a few game time changes the day of for me. She uses all the best stuff. A lot of her make up is Youngblood, which is mineral, so it's scent free and good for sensitive skin. Julie is also very easy to get in touch with and quick to respond to any questions. The cost is a little high, but it is your wedding day so spend the money, do it right and go with Julie!
Beware: She books up waaaaaay in advance, so call her now!

Julie truly made my wedding a day my hubby and I will NEVER forget. I never wear eye makeup and was a little nervous to do so, but trusted Julie's taste to just work her magic! My trial was awesome as well because I really could envision what I was going to look like on my big day. The morning of the wedding, Julie & Lynds came to the hotel where my bridesmaids and I were getting ready. They were on time, so easy to work with and boy did they make us look pretty! I absolutely loved the smokiness she did on my eyelids and the false eyelashes were not over the top but perfect for the look I envisioned! She used her airbrushing and it was flawless, stayed on ALL DAY! I can't even count how many people commented on how fabulous my makeup looked! I will, without a doubt, continue to go to Julie for other services like waxing and facials. She is an A+ in my book and I have, and will continue, to recommend her to every bride-to-be I know! :) :)

My body rebels against makeup. My skin is so oily in some areas that it turns any form of foundation into a goopy mess, and so dry in others that it ends up literally flaking off. My eyes are sensitive to the point where eyeliner makes them itch and water uncontrollably. Basically, I don’t like wearing makeup. Except when it’s applied by Julie. The woman is a magician. She somehow conquered my skin’s ridiculously exuberant oiliness and managed to apply eyeliner and mascara that didn’t make me want to scratch out my eyes. During my makeup trial, I noticed that my eyeliner smudged after a couple of hours. I mentioned this to Julie, and she 100% fixed the problem and left me with makeup that looked gorgeous throughout the entire day.

Julie was amazing! She drove all the way to Hollidaysburg to do my bridesmaids, my mom and myself for my wedding! We all looked and felt like Movie Stars! She is extremely responsive to emails and very professional. She's highly qualified and very knowledgable about her products! We loved Julie and would recommend her to ALL of our friends and family!

Julie was extremely professional and a pleasure to work with! She really made me feel relaxed on my wedding day and her work is amazing! Julie did an amazing job on both my make up and bridesmaid's make up. I was very lucky to have found her, as I was having a very tough time finding a makeup artist that I liked. I had a ton of compliments on how great my makeup looked. She did a great job at making me look natural but elegant. I have never felt more beautiful in my life!! She was on time and both her and her assistant were very professional.

I randomly found Julie online while I was looking for a make-up artist for my wedding, and I couldnt have been happier with the way my make-up turned out, it lasted all night and I got so many compliments on it....I would (and have already) definatley recommend her any of my friends/family if they were in need of a make-up aritst. Julie was one of the sweetest people ever!

Julie is amazing! I found her through a friend of mine and she did the makeup of myself, my mom, and 2 of my bridesmaids. She did an excellent job and we all got compliments throughout the day about how beautiful our makeup was! Julie, as a person, is extremely wonderful to work with. She is easy to schedule with and will bend over backwards to meet your nees and make sure you look wonderful on your day. All of my girls (my mom included) loved what she did with their different styles. She can do anything from dramatic evening makeup, to light and naturally, and no matter what style you pick, she does a fantastic job. She is such a sweetheart and very nice to be around. She makes you feel comfortable while she is doing your makeup and you feel like a lifelong friend even if you have never even met her. Thanks Julie for all you did for us, and I would 100% whole-heartedly recommend Julie for anyone seeking professional, friendly service on their wedding day!

She was so sweet! And did a great job on all the girls and me the bride! Look at her blog and check out the pics of my makeup! It stayed like that all day! She was amazing! Julie was such a pleasure to work with and does absolutely beautiful work. My bridesmaids and the mothers did traditional makeup (they were knock-outs!) and I opted for airbrushing. Julie made me feel amazing and the airbrushing was a great choice.

Don't hesitate to book Julie Marckisotto ... she is a wonderful and talented makeup artist. She truly does enjoy her work and is a lovely person to have as part of your wedding day. For my wedding she airbrushed faces ranging from 28 to 60 years old and was able to please everyone ... including my niece who is quite expert herself in applying makeup. Everyone looked and felt beautiful! All commented on how personable and nice she was, and how pretty. (it certainly inspires confidence when your makeup artist looks flawless herself!) Julie had great email and phone communication with me prior to my wedding day; and when I sent her an email just 2 days before my wedding asking if she could possibly do 2 more girls, she graciously accommodated my request. With a wonderful personality and expert skills, she was a most welcome part of my wedding day.

It was so nice to not have to stress out about doing my own makeup and I think that the girls enjoyed being pampered for the day! Julie is super nice and great to work with. Julie is amazing! She's so friendly and worked with me to find a location that would be easiest for my bridal party. She did an amazing job with not only my make-up, but my maid of honor and mother's as well...and my pictures look great because of it.
