MichaelWill Photography was the best money we spent on the wedding! The quality of our pictures were amazing! Michael is not your basic wedding photographer who just makes you pose and take pictures he has great visions! Our pictures are so unique and different than other weddings he has done if you compare the photos. I would highly recommend Michaelwill!

I had a great experience working with Michael at MichaelWill. I spent a few hours researching local photographers one morning and started shooting e-mails around to set up some interviews - I had a phone call from Michael only 30 minutes after I had placed an inquiriy request on his website. I loved his enthusiasm and I decided to meet with him only 4 days after the phone call. I could tell that he truly enjoyed photographing weddings and that he definitely had a creative side. For being fairly new to professional photography (at the time I booked him he had only been doing it full time for about a year) the quality of his portfolio was impressive. We got a chance to work with him for our engagement pictures and he was great - working with us on a backup plan since it poured down rain the day we had scheduled - he brought all of his lighting equipment so that we could get equally as great pictures inside. The day of the wedding Michael and his second shooter Rodger FAR out performed my expectations. They arrived 30 minutes prior to when I had asked them to be there - and they were very organized to make sure that they captured all the photographs that I had requested prior to the wedding day. Then, at the reception they were a blast to work with - I had so many people come up to me after the wedding and tell me how much fun they were to work with - one of my bridesmaids who is getting married next summer even tried to book him durring the reception!

I first stumbled across MichaelWill Photography's website when I was unhappy with the customer service we had been receiving from another photographer. At the time, my then fiance and I were looking for someone to shoot an engagement and wedding session in the Pittsburgh area. Boy, am I glad for random, happy circumstances! We weren't exactly sure what we wanted from the photos, except that they not be too "posey", and not be retouched past the point of recognition. We wanted something a little more real, gritty - and we wanted photos that we could hang a picture on the wall as a piece of art because they were visually stunning, not just because we happened to be the centerpiece. We have now had both our engagement and wedding sessions, and we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome! We arrived at both of these without any notion of what poses or locations we wanted; never having been photographed in such a candid way before, and both being pretty laid back people, we just let Michael guide and instruct us, and it worked out perfectcly. Michael has a great eye, and can make seemingly "bad" locations look incredible. In the end, we have fantastic photos (at an excellent price considering the high quality), and received wonderful service. All in all, we couldn't say enough positive things about our experience in working with MichaelWill Photography - would highly recommend.

My husband and I used MichaelWill Photography for 2 engagement photo sessions and our wedding day. Michael and his wife work together as a great team collaborating their creativity and originality. They are very fun, down-to-earth people, making them SO easy to work with. Many of my friends have used MichaelWill for their own special events as well, and their visions always create amazing photographs!!

Michaels personality made our experience very comfortable and fun! He was very relaxed and easy going. He took in all of our opinions and ideas which allowed us to be ourselves. Usually picture taking can be a drag and get old very fast! We had just as much fun out and about with Michael as we did at our reception. He captured so many good shots of our wedding party that really express their personalities and will be forever memories! I hope to use Michaels services again and will continue to refer him in future events!
