Medure's Catering

We worked with Pete Medure and it was awesome. He went above and beyond with everything that we asked. Every meeting that we had with Pete was successful and he would give us his honest opinion about our ideas - he wasn't out there just to make every penny he could from us. I respected Pete for that and it made us very happy that he was able to tell us why he wouldn't do something or why he would. He is very knowledgeable in the wedding industry and works with a large number of venues so he is constantly seeing what is new and next. We LOVED all of our food and the flexibility of being able to make a non-traditional wedding food menu. Pete gets an A+++ for all of the work he did to make our day PERFECT.

Our wedding venue, Succop Conservancy, exclusively uses Medure's Catering for their events. Having never tried Medure's food and not knowing much about them, we figured they couldn't be that bad since Succop is booked at least a year out. As soon as we booked with Succop, I got in touch with Pete via email and we planned on doing a tasting in February for our October wedding. Through email I could tell Pete was very upbeat and would be easy to work with. We gave him our likes, dislikes and some ideas and he put together a plate for us to try. We went to the facility in New Castle and met with Pete, who is the nicest guy. We ate together, in silence mostly, because we were so busy stuffing our faces with delicious food. We were so pleased with what he put together. We had eggplant rollatine, pasta with a sort of vodka cream sauce, chicken scallopine, grouper floretine, smashed potatoes and green beans. The food was just as delicious as we remembered and we received a ton of compliments on the food.We went through a basic set-up plan because they provide an all inclusive plan for Succop (which turned out to be the best thing ever). He sent us an estimate and we were all set. We ended up making a few small changes before the big day and Pete was very accommodating. When the day came, we had nothing to worry about. The staff were all so nice and just knew what to do. There was no running around trying to get things situated (I was also pretty organized so that helped reduce any need for second guessing). The set-up was exactly like our plan and the tables and buffet looked beautiful.After our ceremony, we had family pictures and a staff member came over to us with h'ordeuvres! I thought that was so thoughtful and she kept checking on me to see if I needed anything! Everyone we interacted with was so friendly and if we needed anything, they took care of it. I can not recommend Medure's enough. We would definitely use them again in the future for catering needs.

Medure's catering was the best ever! Pete, the owner, was so easy to work with and SO accomodating. He made special meals for our guests that were gluten free and garlic free. All of our guests raved how delicious the food was! From the start, Medures didn't have a "set menu" that we had to select from. Instead, he made what we wanted. Whatever we wanted! He assisted in using his expertise of food and beverage to match certain foods with wine that we should purchase and matched our likes and tates with food selections. It was amazing! During the wedding, his staff was quick and personable. Very great service! The manager of our wedding day was so sweet and nice and helped me make sure everything was great! ( she even helped me un bustle my dress before I walked down the isle, and food service is her job, but she was there to help!) I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience with Medures! Everyone was SO nice and I can't wait to use them again! Maybe for our first anniversary party! :) Oh... and did I mention affordable?! They are the best!

We were both so happy with the food, the flexibility, and the service we experienced with Medure's! Our family loved the food. Several of my relatives even took their card. I was a little nervous about what we would get as far as food since when we booked our venue we had to use Medure's, but after our tasting, we knew everyone would be talking about the food well after the wedding. We had the chicken scallopini, one of their more popular dishes, but then also had beef brisket as the other main dish because we wanted more of a relaxed feel. People couldn't say enough about the brisket! Pete was also great to work with. He made suggestions for us that helped us save money - like providing his own glasses instead of renting glasses for a toast, bringing tubs of ice and linens to hold the drinks we brought, and he even left the dance floor and heaters for us from the wedding day before. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

I would recommend Medure's catering to any bride/groom looking for a fantasitc caterer! We got positive feedback from every guest, expressing how delicious their food was. Pete Medure was curteous, flexible, and available at all times through my planning process to answer any questions we had and fulfill all of our desires. The staff was polite, timely, and personable. Medure's went above and beyond and exceeded our wishes and helped make our dream wedding one to always remember!

From the beginning of planning our menu to the end of our evening, Pete and his team were exceptional. He helped us craft a unique and flavorful menu to serve full of a variety of options, had a staff that was polite, well pulled together and all around helpful and kind. He was very attentive to my concerns and questions leading up to the wedding, including what our rain plans were and was there to check up on me during the morning of the wedding. It seems like I got way more than just a caterer with Pete! I am so happy to have worked with him and wish I had more events that warranted having a cater like him around! Loved it all! Pete is the best at what he does! Let's face it... no one will remember what your aisle runner looked like or who caught the garter... but they WILL remember the food. Don't skimp on this aspect. Pete and his staff are wonderful to work with and each server bent over backwards to help me on my BIG day... even when I made last minute changes! Thank again Pete!

Pete Medure is the most professional and accommodating caterer I have ever had the pleasure to work with in my 30+ years of hosting parties and events. The food is outstanding and second to NONE! We had approx 225 guests at our wedding and everyone we spoke with raved about the food and the service of Pete's staff. We will definitely hire Medure's for all of our future catering needs!After initially retaining Pete as our caterer, he began a series of meetings with us to explain the process, set up a food-tasting day, (etc) and ALWAYS remained available to us (via phone or e-mail) to answer any of our questions or address possible concerns. If I reached his voicemail, he'd be certain to return my call promptly. He made us feel as though our event was his top priority. He went out of his way to accommodate our requests or, in his expertise, offer alternatives (which proved to be more viable.) With all the details that brides have to address during the planning process, the catering and tent/accessories rental were never a concern. Our trust in Pete's reliability was well-placed. He is an exceptional person and Medure's Catering is worthy of a 5-Star rating!

Could not have been better and we would recommend Medure's. As a matter of fact we are using Mudure's again in August for our other daughters wedding. I'd say that is a pretty strong recommendation.

Medure's was great. It was really wonderful to be able to walk into our first meeting with Pete and be able to tell him exactly what we wanted. He didn't hand us a menu of choices and say "pick," it really was, "tell us what food you'd like to serve at your wedding, and we'll make it for you." And the food really is wonderful. I'm still getting compliments about it from our guests. They were sometimes a little slow to respond to e-mails but always followed through on whatever we wanted to do and we were able to make changes up until a few weeks before the wedding. Loved them!

Liz was the person I worked with the most on my wedding... she was great! She was willing to do whatever I wanted and was there to give me advice if I needed it. The only issue we had (and I heard about it after the reception) was that one of the servers at the reception was rude to my husband's aunt, who was trying to set up our cookie table. The food was good, and everything else went very smooth.

Normally when we use your services, we know that we don't have to worry about the food, the amount we need or how it will be served. Medure's seem to have a knack for doing it right as well as delicious! We must say though, that while preparing for the wedding all of you were a GREAT help. You all were very patient with all of our questions and the need for pleasing so many people with different types of food choices. Our calls were always answered promtly, our fears of the open house were assured and the many meetings and proper set up made the wedding go off without a hitch. We also would like to give a HUGE thank you to your staff. The servers were always around, the table set up and the staff manning them were always keeping everything filled and neat(which was one thing I had asked for) An even better feedback is that everyone that attended the wedding either called or told us how wonderful the food was and how neat the tables were for the whole evening. Also, how pleased everyone was with the food passers keeping everyone happy in the receiving line and those outside as they mingled around. Matty, Doll, Pete and Jackie, there are not enough words to tell you how well pleased we were from our first meeting until our last. Every aspect of Medure's catering was fantastic. The plated service was wonderful. The servers were pleasant, and helpful in every way, including clean up after the reception. Pete was a tremendous to work with. He remained positive through out the day, even when rain threatened to ruin our outside ceremony. I would definately recommend Medure's for not only catering, but also for full service for any occasion.

There was nothing but good for me to say about the Medure's Catering experience for my son’s wedding. We had an outdoor ceremony and reception and they took care of everything important. They made sure everything ran smoothly and on time. SERVICE: Every single one of the Medures’ employees was courteous and professional. By the time they event was completed they felt like friends. Medure's was accommodating to special requests and made sure everything was as perfect as it could be. We had a brief downpour just before the wedding ceremony and the entire staff assembled to get everything dried of and kept everything on schedule. FOOD: The food was exceptional and probably the best wedding reception meal I have ever eaten. The guests raved about the hors d'oeuvres and dinner. The outdoor event surely complicated the preparation and serving process but Medure's Catering made it look easy. Needless to say, we are pleased with our catering choice and would highly recommend Medure's Catering

Medure's Catering was attentive to every last detail that was discussed in our initial meeting. The quality of the food was excellent and was commented on by many of our guest throughout the evening. It was a huge relief to know that Pete was following the weather forecast closely and made the decision to order the heaters which turned out to be absolutely necessary and a very good call on his part. It was nice to get to the day of the wedding and be able to totally relax and enjoy our daughter's wedding reception knowing that Medure's had everything under control.

Everything was great from the first meeting to end of the wedding!! All the staff was great, helping us with our every need. So glad we used Pete he handled everything we needed start to finish. They all made the wedding a perfect day!! THANK YOU again

I found out about Medure's by word of mouth and their impeccable reputation. I live in the UK so planning a wedding in America was a slight challenge. Medure's made the catering end of the planning incredibly easy. They were a joy to work with and the food and staff were second to none. I would definitely use them again and happily recommend them to anyone.

Pete provided such wonderful service throughout my entire wedding planning process. He was super attentive to every detail and took away so much of the stress that comes with planning the big day. His entire crew was extremely nice, professional, and attentive to me and my guests the entire night! The food was delicious and our guests still talk about how good it was! I couldn't have asked for a better crew to cater my special day!
