When we first met with Scott, we asked him for one thing...to make the wedding reception FUN for everyone! Without a doubt, Scott exceeded our expectations! We had over 200 guests ranging in age from 1-85, and he had everyone on the dance floor...AND kept them out there! I have absolutely no reservations in recommending him! The guests at our wedding reception were extremely impressed with Scott, and that was evident at the end of the night when the dance floor was still packed. Scott was a great DJ. I think everyone had fun at our reception. He did a good job of playing music for everyone at the begining and more party music toward the end of the night. He was able to get people envolved early in the night and they danced till the reception was over. Scott was very flexible and he made whatever last minute changes we needed.

Scott at DJ Magic Moments was amazing. He got everyone on the dance floor an kept them there. He was very professinal but also very easy going anything you want done he can do with class, he didnt just feel like our dj that night, he felt like a friend we hired to do us a favor. As a mother of the bride and a wedding videographer, Scott with Magic Moments is the best around. He is professional, kind and attentive to all your needs. I believe it is very important to have an expierenced DJ at a wedding event. One needs to know how to run events timely and successfully. He has a natural way with people and can get the crowd out of their seats and having fun. We haved worked many weddings together and I knew I just had to have him DJ my daughters wedding. Scott was great to work with prior to the wedding. He took the time to meet with us on several occassions. He has a great personality and made us feel confident with our choice of a DJ. His services including the photo montage and video screen impressed us and our guests. We recieved many great compliments on such a great display. His entertainment was well worth it and we would highly recommend his services. We tried to book him for another family member's wedding but he was already booked!

Scott was a very professional and fun dj. I was extremely happy with his service at my wedding. He is very easy to get in contact with and made the preparation for the reception as easy as could be. He was so generous to sit down with us right before the wedding to go over all the details. If I had to do it all over again Scott would be my number one pick!

Scott was AMAZING! He was the best DJ ever! We had a blast with him! The planning was a piece of cake. His website allows you to view your account online as well as access his online music library. We received a wedding planner 2 months before the wedding. It was so easy to fill out. Scott's wife Collette was also so nice to work with! His equipment was top of the line! Our guest have been raving about him and our reception! We were having so much fun we extended our reception...our guests danced so much we shifted the dance floor 3 feet! What a great time! He even gave us a CD at the end of the night with all of our wedding songs on it!

I have to say that Scott Miser made our wedding reception fantastic! Everything about our wedding was perfect (how often can a bride say that??), and Scott was a big part of why it was so fun. He was extremely organized, was at the reception site and set up ready to go VERY early. We had to be concerned with traffic since our wedding was the same day as the Pittsburgh 250, and they closed bridges and tunnels. Scott was well aware of all of that and took that into account. Scott listened to everything we told him. He gave us a planner so we could tell him everything about the wedding - what order we wanted events, which events we did and did not want included, what songs we liked for which portions of the evening (he had some suggestions, but could find any songs we chose - I picked a couple unusual songs he didn't have originally, but he does now!), what volumes we wanted, etc. He asked on our planner if we wanted (or really didn't want) certain traditional or popular dance songs and adhered to our wishes. I couldn't decide on a father/bride dance, but I told him that I wanted something instrumental and that we didn't want to induce tears, and he was able to pick out a perfect song for the occasion. Everything we asked for, he delivered. He was also flexible - we originally told him we wanted to do a "thanks for coming" speech, but when the time came, we totally blanked, and he was able to work around us and keep the evening going. Scott was very professionally dressed. He came to our reception in a tux - bow tie and vest. He may have had the jacket, but I didn't see. We were so busy. He was well-groomed as well. He was very unobtrusive. Scott is very good at recognizing that he's there to keep the evening going and be the entertainment and "master of ceremonies" of sorts, but he never tries to be the center of attention. He's very good at being on the sidelines but being involved. He was very courteous to our guests. A few of them made requests and he played them when appropriate. He announced the songs as requests so the people who made the requests knew the songs were coming up. He has just about anything people can request - great music selection! Scott, as I said before, is very well-organized. He also kept the reception moving at an appropriate pace. He would adjust as events would arise, but kept things moving. Scott and his wife Colette were both very professional & responsive during the planning process. While planning our Pittsburgh wedding, I was living in California, so most of our planning was done via email. He would respond quickly, though I know weekends tend to be very busy for him, so it's tough for him to get back same day on weekends. When we got closer, I started communicating by phone with Colette because I hadn't picked that father/bride dance song yet, and they were on top of everything. Scott arrived well in advance of the start of the reception. I won't repeat myself here, but I never once worried that we couldn't count on him. I'd been to a few of the events he DJ'd before our wedding, so I'd seen him in action, and he's always early, well-prepared, and ready to go.As far as keeping the party going, I can't say enough to thank Scott for his amazing ability to read the crowd and keep everyone involved. He started out talking with us, asking us how things were going, and making sure we were ready to start. After dinner, he started the entire evening getting people (literally everyone) up and on the dance floor, then kept everyone there. People truly enjoyed themselves. We still had a lot of people on the dance floor at the end of the evening 4 hours after we started! We have had quite a few people (men and women - unprompted, just offering their opinions) say that really enjoyed our wedding! One of my friend's fathers saw my mom at their class reunion the weekend after our wedding, and he came up to tell her it was the most fun he'd ever had at a wedding! Scott was very responsive to all of our requests. At no point did we ever have to ask him to turn the music or volume up or down. Again, he's very good at reading crowds and venues and adjusting as needed. Scott has years of experience and is very good at observing and understanding what crowds need to keep going, though he is fantastic at listening and responding to what we wanted, too. He never tries to overrule what you want just because he's done it before, but he can make suggestions if you want them.I would highly recommend Scott to be a DJ for any events - and he made our wedding absolutely perfect. On our planner, he asked us for three words to describe our perfect wedding. We wanted it to be memorable, unique, and fun, and Scott responded with more than we could have ever asked for. It has now been ten months since our wedding, and we're still getting compliments on how fun our reception was, and Scott had a HUGE part of making it that fun.

Magic Moments was a great find. Scott not only got people that we thought would never dance to dance all night, but he even did the music for my ceremony. I was touched by his willingness to go above my expectations. He even gave my son a disco ball at the end of the night! We loved him. You cannot do better.

Magic Moments provides a top quality touch to any event. They DJ'd my husband's daughter's wedding. Scott is very personable, and very interactive with the group to make sure people are having fun. As an added touch they put together a video montage of the bride and groom which was fun for everyone to watch...brought back a ton of great memories. If you want cheap..you will get what you pay for. For the quality of service, the attention to detail and the personality, Magic Moments is worth every penny spent.

This was the best DJ I have ever seen at a wedding. Scott is professional - had the whole party dancing out of their chairs and everyone had a great time. I against the classic wedding cheesey songs, he pulled it off and used them to get the crowd going. Great DJ - Highly recommended.

This DJ is well worth the money. We (the bride and groom) did not have many suggestions for the DJ. The DJ was able to select music that covered a wide range of genres. The staff at the reception site said to us that this DJ always provides great music. They said every time that he plays there is good music.
