To say Jeremy was a great DJ, just doesn't do him any justice. From our first conversation a year before the wedding, I knew our entertainment was in good hands. He and I chatted for over an hour about the style of the wedding, our taste in music and the general coordination of the night. Jeremy really made us feel like he would have everything under control and that the night was ours to enjoy and our only concern was just having fun! He was extremely good at keeping in touch over the course of the planning year and I never had to worry about where we were in the process. He was proactive in contacting me and always prompt in responding if I had a question along the way. The week of the wedding Jeremy went above the "normal" call of duty of a DJ and contacted all our vendors to distribute all information and timeline for the night. Many of our other vendors commented to me on how helpful and great this was and that no one has ever done that before! The night of the wedding, Jeremy delivered on every expectation that we had imagined. He played cool, new dinner music that many guests complimented us on. He made sure that night flowed seamlessly and most importantly, played great songs that everyone could dance to. We had an absolute blast at our reception and we are so thankful we booked Jeremy. We wanted to have a wedding people talk about for years to come because they had that much fun ... and we did, thanks to Jeremy.

Jeremy is by far the best of the best. You will not find another DJ as good at what they do as Jeremy is. He is extremely quick at responding to questions or concerns and will spend as much time with you as you want or need discussing music, songs for specific events (1st dance, father/daughter, cake cutting, etc), and order of events for the day. Anyone who doesn't book Jeremy for their DJ is missing out! Our guests were completely blown away by how amazing the song selection was and how smoothly all of our "events" flowed together.

Jeremy was nothing short of awesome. He was the first vendor we booked for our wedding and we are so happy we did. After hearing rave reviews from every single venue we considered in the Pittsburgh area we decided to book him. Having a great DJ was key to our wedding reception and Jeremy did an amazing job. We knew from the start that we wanted our wedding to be elegant and tasteful, but we still wanted everyone out on the dance floor to party the whole night. He helped us so much along the way to plan our event. He was able to take our taste in music and suggest great songs for the various special songs and dances. He kept the evening moving smoothly and right on time. He got everyone up & kept them dancing until it was time to head home for the night. We would recommend Jeremy to everyone we know- he is the best!!

For years I had desired Jeremy to DJ at my wedding and when the day finally came, I was more than thrilled! My initial conversation was with Jeremy Ganss, but Doug Marshall was ultimately the DJ for our event. He was extremely professional, kind, and did everything in his power to make sure that the night went smoothly. Having not been ecstatic with the service staff at the venue itself, it was priceless to me that Doug was on top of every detail of the timing, schedule, etc. Everyone had a great time and danced the night away!

If you are speaking with any wedding venues or photographers in Pittsburgh, you will soon find that everyone thinks Jeremy Ganss is the best - and he absolutely is. We didn't want a band, but DJs made me especially nervous because they are so often cheesy and tacky. My husband found Jeremy and after reading recommendations from other Pittsburgh vendors and speaking with Jeremy on the phone (we planned our wedding remotely so we couldn't meet him in person) we decided to book Jeremy. Jeremy was incredibly professional during the wedding and seemed to work seamlessly with our venue (Carnegie Museum). He gave us total control over the type of music we wanted played during each section of the evening. We specified genres of music for cocktails and dinner and left dancing to him. He is especially talented at reading crowds and making people feel comfortable enough to get out on the dance floor and have a good time. We had people of all ages dancing all night. He even got grandpa (who doesn't dance) to bust some moves to Michael Jackson and Lady Gaga. Our guest are still commenting on how amazing Jeremy was.

I'd give Jeremy 10 stars if I could. He did a perfect job. He knew the exact right song to play to keep everyone dancing. Countless people came up to me after the wedding and told me what a phenomenal job he did. He had the talent to get young, old, Indian, and American people dancing. More than that, he organized the reception in a perfect fashion. From introductions, to toasts, to cake cutting, to guest singers to dancing, the evening was timed flawlessly. In addition, we had a great time working with him before and after the wedding; it was a lot of fun talking about songs and coming up with the itinerary for the evening. He was so professional with everything, and we feel lucky to have had him as our DJ. He transformed a perfect day into a perfect night.

Jeremy was great. He DJed my sisters wedding in the Poconos and I liked him so much I brought him to Lancaster for my wedding. He was completely professional and his music selection is unlimited. We discussed every angle of the wedding and reception prior to the big day, so I knew it would all go perfectly the day of. We couldn't have been happier with our decision to hire Jeremy for our wedding DJ.

Hi Jeremy, I FINALLY have a chance to sit down and write a quick note to say THANK YOU! Music was one of the components of my wedding that was extremely important to me, and once we found you, I knew that we were in capable hands. I was worried that Justin would want to look for a more "cost-effective" option, but once he met with you face to face almost a year ago now, he was easily convinced! YEAH! You were a pleasure to work with, and the end result was perfect. During dinner my sister leaned over to me and commented, "I love your playlist." I was thrilled to tell her that I never made a playlist... we left all the music choices in your hands, and it worked out perfectly! Our dance floor was never empty, and looking at all the pictures as they come in, I realize how much all of our guests enjoyed your work. I had a wonderful time as well, and tried to be on the dance floor as much a possible. Some of it is a blur, but I do have some great memories! And I finally had a chance to take a peek on your blog! SO crazy to see our pics up there after looking at so many other weddings on your site over the past year. Thanks for taking so many great pics! I am sorry that we never really had a chance to say bye and thank you before we jetted off... so I just wanted to have a chance to send you a quick message! I cannot say enough how pleased my husband, my family and I are with Jeremy�s service at our wedding reception. From my first 1 hour phone conversation with Jeremy a year before our wedding to the laid back and friendly final meeting the weekend before, Jeremy felt less like a vendor and more like a friend who cared greatly about ensuring that our wedding reception was everything we dreamed of. And boy was it! The play lists and reception planner that Jeremy has for his cleints online made planning and detailing our reception a snap (Plus my husband LOVED the online too! Props to Jeremy for making it fiance-friendly!). The day of Jeremy worked excellently with other reception vendors to enusre that we followed the very important timeline and that the evening flowed smoothly. And the party was amazing. I�ve never seen a dance floor packed all night. With an excellent mix of songs we requested for both young and old, I haven�t had one complaint about our musical stylings for the night. Without hesitation, my brother and his fiance booked Jeremy for their 2010 wedding the Monday after our wedding. Jeremy is BY FAR the best wedding DJ I have ever had the pleasure of working with.

Jeremy was a great DJ. He was very professional and we were very happy with the service he provided. We would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a classy, professional, and talented DJ.

Jeremy was so great to work with. Extremely professional and responsive. He was willing to work with some or our music ideas and preferences but knowledgeable on how to pack a dance floor. I appreciated his ability to coordinate events throughout the evening. Highly recommended.

I was just emailing you!! I can not even begin to thank you enough for how amazing you made our wedding! It was above and beyond anything Dan and I could have imagined! Our friends and family our still telling us how much fun it was and how great the music was! We loved ever bit of it! I would recommend Doug Marshall (my actual DJ) and Jeremy Ganss to any bride. They kept the music flowing and kept everyone on the dance floor for the entire reception. I've had so many compliments regarding our DJ, and many girls have asked me if I would mind them using him for their future weddings. The money was worth it... by far!

Jeremy was AWESOME!!! I don't know where to begin...Jeremy was so fabulous that people are still talking about our reception and it's been over a year since our wedding! Jeremy took the time to get to know what we were looking for as far as music and mood went. He paid attention to every last detail, from getting our "must-play" songs to our "do not play, no matter what songs"...he made sure our reception was totally "us" in every way. He tailored the music to the different events of the evening, including finding specific songs for us. He made it impossible for our guests to have a bad time! I hope there is an opportunity in the future to work with Jeremy! I, ecstatically and without reservation, recommend Jeremy Ganss to anyone needing a DJ!

Good Afternoon, I have been filling out many inquiries about Jeremy. I apologize in advance for the length but I figure you want to know as much as possible, but the short of it is...HE IS CLASSY, ELEGANT, FUN, & MOST IMPORTANTLY...WORTH IT! 1. Is he really worth the money? Honestly, I thought that price was high until I did a little more research in the matter. I interviewed over 20 DJs in the Greater Pittsburgh area and Jeremy is without a doubt the best. He is on all the major hotels (like the Grand Hall, Sheriton, PPG Aquirium, Westin) preferred vendor list and trust me when I say that he is very professional in person. My mother in-law feared having a terrible DJ, both musically and professionally, and Jeremy was the best DJ we met with. So I would say that he was worth every penny. For the entire night it was basically music on demand because of him and people just loved it. That last statement is the biggest reason in my opinion to have a DJ over a band. If you have a band you are basically paying for one style of music all night long. If you want a good enough band that can mix it up you will have to pay through roof for them. When I was deciding between the two we found that DJs in general were about 1/4 to 1/3 the cost of a band plus people don't always like the version of the song the band plays but a DJ can just play the music as it was originally intended. 2. How vocal is he during the reception? That is actually something that you have to talk with him about because he can do a lot for you. During our wedding we asked him just to make the major announcements, first dance, cake cutting, etc. and that is all. If he saw the dance floor empty we told him he could try to coax people but that was not necessary because everyone loved the music and there was always someone on the dance floor. 3. Did he stick to your "do not play" list? We meet with Jeremy several times before the wedding and he checked in monthly before that to get a general play list together. Our instructions to Jeremy were simple, play stuff our parents would like during dinner and the first hour of dancing and then play stuff we would like for the rest of the night. We gave him a list of songs we did not want played and he stuck to it with one exception. My nephew started crying because he wanted the chicken dance and while it is hard to say no to a 2 year old, Jeremy found one of us to make sure it was ok before he started to play the song. 4. When interviewing other DJ's, what set Jeremy apart and made you choose him? Again, I interviewed a lot of DJs and met with most of them in person. What made Jeremy stand out was the fact that he was professional about this. He was not coming through a service and he was not doing this on the side to make a little more money. DJing is what he does for a living and he came across professionally about his job (not a past time). 5. How professional was he during the ceremony and with your guests? Our guest loved him and again he was very professional. When a song was requested it took him no more than 5 min to get it mixed into the rotation. In terms of professional, my mother in-law made a big deal about appearance and one of her screening questions was, how many tuxedos do you own? He replied, 3 but I never look better than the Groom. Jeremy is a great guy and a pleasure to work with. I like to think that we hired the best in the area because we had a wedding of 540 people so everything had to go smoothly and things had to be great and they were thanks to our vendors. Truthfully, I know that weddings are not cheap but we refused to compromise on were music/entertainment and photography. Hope this helps. P.S.
