I was able to shop online at www.DavidsBridal.com and sort by dress style - I knew I needed petite and I wanted a ball gown. It was easy and the photos were accurate; I appreciated being able to read reviews and see the gowns on real girls! I intend to share my story and pics on their website to help other brides. When I went to the Springfield store to try on dresses our salesperson was very knowledgeable, really nice and down to earth. She was honest about what looked good and what did not and she did not rush through the appointment. The dress I ultimately chose was my first pick from online shopping and the first one I tried on. And it was on clearance!! I was able to make my alterations appointment quickly and easily and they tailored my dress perfectly - it fit like a glove but was comfortable! I love my dress and thank the staff at DB for making my dress shopping such a pleasant and happy experience :)

I purchased my wedding gown at David's Bridal in Wilmington, DE but decided to have alterations done at their Springfield, PA location because it is closer to home. The seamstress did an amazing job and I felt every bit a princess when she was done. So, the outcome was great, but the process was awful. I am not sure if it is a situation particular to the Springfield location or if it is simply the difference between sales (buying the dress) and service (altering the dress), but the alterations process was miserable. I had two fitting appointments - both of which started 20-30 minutes late. The dressing rooms were cramped and over-booked. I had to stand partially dressed with other partially dressed women in a hallway (outside of the men's restroom) off and on for several minutes. The attendants were inattentive and borderline rude. Frankly the experience sucked the joy out of the process. If I had known to expect this, I would have gotten my alterations elsewhere.

I purchased my wedding gown and bridesmaid dresses through David's Bridal. I was not as happy with David's Bridal as I thought I would be. They lacked the local bridal shop feel. I felt rushed when picking out dresses and found the quality of the dresses to be of poor taste. I only chose the store as the prices were within my budget. I would not recommend this store to anyone.

I made an appointment straight away after getting engaged just meaning to have some fun and get an idea of what I liked. She brought me about 8-9 dresses to try on based on the pictures I liked from their catalog. She really made me feel special with how attentive she was to me. None of the dresses really grabbed me until the last one and I almost didn't try it on at all. It was under what we budgeted for my dress and I bought it right there on the spot. We got the bridesmaid dresses there and the flower girl dress. Everything was gorgeous and they were very patient with out last minute ordering. I changed my mind about the flower girl dress after it was ordered and they were great and let me exchange it for the one I wanted that was in stock. Butted heads with the manager a bit about wanting black undergarments and had to order them online because she said they couldn't get it for me through them. I also had an issue ordering the corset online. The site was messing up and I couldn't get my order through. there is no customer service number and that sucks. Talked to a rep online and within a few days had an email from up above apologizing as well as refunding my shipping costs for the inconvenience. Very nicely handled by them. I applaud. I rarely get such a prompt and satisfying resolution from a company. Alterations are ridiculously expensive though and I paid much less to have the same work done by a local seamstress than paying the $300+ it would have cost me to go through David's. Overall my dealings with them were really good and whatever minor glitches were easily resolved.

I went to the David's Bridal in Robinson Twp, Pa. My consultant, Kim was awesome, but the manager was very pushy and moody. Luckily, I was able to deal mostly with Kim. I was also very happy with the alterations department and what they did with my dress.

I absolutely loved the dress that I bought here. However, it is so busy that it is hard to get good service. The saleswoman I had was too busy and I had to wait about 15 minutes after I tried on each dress. The person at the alterations had a thick accent and it was very hard to understand her on the phone when I called. The alternations were wonderful and I loved how they did my bussel.

We got my dress, my maid of honors dress and the flower girls dress all at this store and they couldn't have been more helpful. They helped with everything from beginning to end.

I loved David's Bridal! The dress was fabulous and cheap! I loved wearing it every minute and I would wear it again if I could! The service was good...it definitely made it easy for my bridemaids to look for dresses, since I chose a color and they got to choose the style of the gown. It turned out great. They helped with the tuxes...the guys got a dicount for it and my groom got it for free. It was easy to find accessories: bridal shoes, veil, ring bearer accessories and flower girl accessories. All in all, I was very pleased with the result! Did I mention the prices are great!

I loved my wedding consultant when I got my dress. She was overly responsive and just great. The bridesmaids dresses were not as great. We had an appointment, but were treated like an inconvenience to everyone there. I guess they do not make as much money off of bridesmaids dresses. They did take the time to write down all of the girls names and what pieces they should were because they were in seperates. They did not however use any of that information because my girls had to fight with them to order the top that they had picked. The ones that chose not to fight got the wrong non-returnable exchangable tops.

I had a great experience at the Davids Bridal in Springfield. The dress I picked out was perfect, however I did match my dress with a jacket from a different vendor (Forever Yours) because it was a December wedding. I did end up also using the wedding gown preservation they have and they give you a great discount on. The bridesmaids and flower girls also got their dresses here and Monica was a huge help. Everyone looked fabulous. One piece of advice (especially bridesmaids and flower girls) go do your alterations elsewhere for cheaper.

David's Bridal is really your "One stop Shop" for your wedding dress! I fell in love with a strapless A-line, that was very simple yet elegant. I had a destination wedding, so I really needed a dress that could travel easily. The staff was very helpful, and my fitting appointments went flawlessly.

So unhappy with this place from the start. My first trip I had a miserable consultant who rushed me to make a decision and was bad-talking marriage! I reported her to the manager. I was assigned to a new consultant, but never saw the same girl twice! I was talked into buying a dress 2 sizes too big (even though my weight never fluctuates - and I actually lost weight from the stress). rEsulting in costly alterations. My bridesmaids were all quoted different prices for a hem. No one could figure out my bustle. I do not refer any of my friends here!

Loved my dress but they did not have the allterations done when promised. The staff was helpful but too busy to get undivided attention. All my girls got their dresses here too. Not too many problems!!

We got the bridesmaids dresses at DavidÂ’s because there were two bridesmaids who lived out of state and it was easier for them to just be able to go to the DavidÂ’s in their neighborhood. We were like one of a million people there that day but it worked out.

Not only did the DavidÂ’s Bridal alterations department hem the layers of my wedding gown to different lengths, they refused to admit it, fix it, or refund my money when I literally cried to them about it. IÂ’ve went back and forth with them for about 1 year after my wedding, considered small claims court, but eventually got tired of fighting and gave upÂ…which, I bet, is what most people do and is probably why they keep getting away with doing what they do. I had to take it to a local tailor to get it fixed. USE local, reliable tailors for alterations!!!

The dress was gorgeous and affordable. Had some issues with some of my bridemaids dresses but it was figured out prior to the wedding.
