We need a unique cake to be pasted with Almond Pasting (marzi pan) and Cheryl did a wonderful job!

Cakes by Cheryl was amazing! I had so many comments on how delicious the wedding cake was! Cheryl and her sister run the business out of their basement - their pictures of cakes are older (early 1990s style) but I provided a picture of what I wanted and they delivered exactly as I asked - they are very talented! They may not be as friendly as other vendors when first dealing with them - but try the cake - it's very very good quality and taste. I had no problems with them after the selection of them as a vendor -

Cheryl's cake is amazing and she knows it... it's the best wedding cake I've ever tasted and we recieved so many positive comments from our guests. Her pictures of sugested cake styles are old, but she can do anything - just find a picture online and provide and she'll do it. My cake was layered with flowers - and turned out exactly as I had described. She may not be as friendly as your other vendors during your first meeting - but if you taste her cake you'll be sold. After the first meeting everything was fine - maybe she was having a bad day! Excellent cake!!!

When we arrived at the house to discuss and taste cake... she was not prepared- stacks upon stacks of magazines were everywhere and we watched her quickly put them in corners so we could have a place to sit down- seems like she forgot we were coming... she wasnt prepared with samples so we waited for 1 hour to try some.... and was out in 3 hours.... looong timeHer cakes are very good- filling is wonderful...However 3 days before the wedding- we finally got a hold of her ( 2 weeks of trying) She lost our cake order.... we had to remake a cake order by phone and by memory of what we originally wanted 8 months ago when we met with her. Incredibly frustrating BUT, she came through- the cake was beautiful along with the cupcakes- everything was placed the way we requested and they tasted amazing.I will never use her again- she is unprofessional- but i would eat her cakes again and again.
