We hired Accents Unlimited for our DJ and for day-of coordination. Jodi was great to work with. She was always easy to get in touch with, willing to meet as often as I wanted, and had a lot of great ideas. We recieved several compliments from guests about how much fun our wedding was and I think a lot of that had to do with the flow and the music. It was nice being able to relax and just enjoy the evening knowing that Jodi had everything taken care of. I would definitely recommend Accents Unlimited to anyone looking for DJ, candy bar, invitations, etc.

We hired Jodi as our wedding DJ and for a complete wedding planning package. First of all, as a DJ, Jodi was perfect. Her choices for dinner hour were perfect....songs that I would have chosen if I could have remembered all the names of my favorite songs. As for the reception, well, most of our guests said they have never danced as much at at wedding as they did at ours! The dance floor was never empty, in fact, we should have had a larger one to accommodate more people all dancing at the same time. Jodi's skills as a DJ are absolutely wonderful. As for wedding planning, we hired Jodi in December for a Sept wedding, and we couldn't have made a better choice. Jodi is professional, but with a relaxed vibe that lent the professional relationship to one on a comfortable level. I never felt embarrassed to tell Jodi my ideas, even though they were a bit out of the box at times. She was always supportive, and suggested ways to get things done, and on time. She was INVALUABLE as a contact person for our other vendors. My husband and I have little time during business hours to make calls given our line of work, and I could always count on Jodi to reach out and track down our vendors....did I mention that we live out of state too? As for the day of...rain threatened to "challenge" our backyard outdoor ceremony, but Jodi took the issue to task and made everything work...from moving our cocktail hour location, moving the bar, decorating the entire reception tent, and being POC for the caterer. Overall, I can't recommend Jodi highly enough...oh! and the greatest part for an OCD control freak like me? Jodi responded to email sometimes WITHIN MINUTES. Love it.

We hired Jodi Colella to D.J. our wedding. We do not live in Pittsburgh so we were planning out wedding from a distance. Jodi was extremely helpful with planning the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. We loved her online portal that allowed us to provide her with all of our specific details, a timeline, and a songlist (both definitely play and do not play). Her services are very personalized and she truly cares about her clients. Jodi was absolutely fabulous on our wedding day. Everything went smoothly! We gave her some suggestions for cocktail hour and dinner but let her choose the songs. Her music choices were perfect! We loved her lighting for the reception (we used the rotating ball with white and colored lights which she changed depending on the song). She checked in with us the perfect amount during the reception. I couldn't have asked for a better D.J.!! I could not recommend Jodi any more!!! You can't go wrong with her! Lastly, her cost is reasonable and well worth the money.

Jodi did a fantastic job as DJ for our wedding. She did a great job of announing everything, and staying on top of our schedule. The music that she selected kept everyone dancing and having a great time. Jodi and her husband, Mark are professional, reliable, and very easy to work with. In the planning process, she is always available to discuss any questions or concerns that you might have. She will go the extra mile to ensure that your reception is fabulous and exactly what you want. I would recommend Jodi to anyone! I also used Jodi of Accents Unlimited as Day of Coordination for our wedding. She was not truly a "Day of" coordinator, because she helped me throughout the entire planning process of our wedding. Jodi was also available to discuss any details or planning of the wedding, and even came to my venue to make sure that everything would be perfect. Her assistant, Ellen, is also fantastic and did a great job of coordinating our ceremony. Ellen and Jodi work seamlessly together to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Jodi handles problems and challenges so well, and it was so nice having someone as a "go-to" the day of the wedding. She set up our reception beautifully, and we had so many compliments on how gorgeous everything was. Jodi also created a slideshow for us, which was amazing, and we will treasure it forever. We also had a candy buffet that Jodi set-up and managed. It was wonderful and it was nice not having to worry about dealing with the set-up or maintence. Previously in our planning, Jodi created our invitations, and we are still receiving compliments on them. She also created the programs for our ceremony, and signage for our reception, which was pretty and perfect, and done with our budget in mind. Jodi and Accents Unlimited are truly a multi-service business. Everything that they do is done with class, intelligence, and care. Jodi truly wants your wedding day to be perfect, and everything that she does is done with that in mind. I would recommend Jodi to everyone.

I am SO glad that Jodi was my wedding DJ! I planned my wedding from overseas, so I couldn't meet her in person initially, but she was so helpful in answering my questions over the phone that I knew she was the right choice. Her services are also VERY competitively priced. She was always just an email away when I had a question or needed help with anything. In addition to being a DJ, she also provides wedding planning and coordination services, and while I wasn't able to utilize these due to budget constraints, she still offered little bits of advice that turned out to be really helpful! Her online music planning portal is great - my husband and I were able to choose our music months in advance, and we kept changing our minds up until just a few days before the wedding. Our first dance song is a bit obscure and wasn't on the music database, but Jodi was able to acquire it and even cut out the speaking part of the song, as I requested. On the wedding day, Jodi kept things running smoothly so I didn't have to worry about a thing. Our music was incredible - she played the things we'd requested, plus requests from our guests, and our dance floor was totally packed all night. I wouldn't change a thing, and I HIGHLY recommend her!

What can I say Jodi was and is amazing!! Hire her, you will not regret it. The price is great and her services are out of this world. She placed a slide show together for us, and it was amazing! Everyone loved and we loved it. She even made a few changes to the slide show 3 nights before the wedding. Changing some music around for us. I feel like over the past year I got to know her, and she got a chance to learn our style which gave us a great wedding and reception. She did not give us slack for our music selection (Classic Rock) for dinner and some of the reception as other DJ's did. Never once did she critisize us, she was there to help contribute to making our day as amazing as we invisioned. She is amazing! She worked well with other vendors too, and I am so so thankful we had her for our wedding. Hire Her!!

Jodi did such an amazing job as our wedding DJ! I could not recommend her more! She played amazing music and has a great website for adding music requests/do not play lists that was very helpful. She is truly talented and you won't regret booking her for your event!

Jodi did a phenomenal job at our wedding on October 17, 2009!!! We knew Jodi was going to be our DJ from the initial meeting. She really listened to our wants, needs, likes, and dislikes! She followed up during the year of planning, just to check in and see if there was anything we needed. We, 2.5 weeks later, are still receiving compliments on how this was the best wedding ever, and truthfully couldn't have done it with out a fantastic DJ. Jodi (and her husband) kept the crowd going all night long! I have a difficult maiden name and even her pronounciation was flawless! AND... if you didn't know, karaoke can be a part of your wedding package, and well, it was a hit! We couldn't be happier with our decision to hire Jodi! She was professional, fun, and fantastic! Her price is one of the best out there, and for the quality of the person and service you get, you can't ask for more! Thanks Jodi!!! You made our wedding the best!!

Jodi did a fantastic job dj'ing my daughter and son-in-law's recent wedding! She kept the dance floor packed until the moment the reception ended! People from age 9 months to 77 years old were out there having a fantastic time dancing the night away. The music was spot on -- there was something for everyone to dance to -- and for the non-dancers, I spied them sitting at the tables, swaying to the beat and tapping their toes! The volume was perfect - not too loud, not too low. And the lights were an extra special touch! Jodi's friendly professionalism was a breath of fresh air compared to many weddings I have attended where the DJ talked more than playing music. She did an excellent job getting us all lined up for the intro at the beginning of the reception! Jodi Colella is a hidden gem in Pittsburgh! I highly recommend her. We also hired Jodi to put on the chair covers and sashes at the reception. She did an outstanding job.

Jodi and Mark did an amazing job DJing our wedding. We also hired Jodi to put chair covers and sashes on all of our seats! From the time I hired her, Jodi was very helpful and attentive. She routinely checked in on my planning progress over the year before the wedding. The weeks following up to the wedding, Jodi found all the song requests I had her look up and she even had me listen to versions of songs to make sure they were correct. Jodi impressed me a lot when I told her that I needed a certain version of a Dave Matthews Band song for our first dance, after we had already practiced our dancing to that version. Jodi searched for two days before she found the version I had somehow come to own. She sent me the file to make sure it was the correct one! Also, Jodi helped me plan a fun entrance with our bridal party in which the intro of another DMB song built up anticipation while the grandparents and parents were introduced and then the music really started playing with the first couple in our bridal party! Throughout the evening, Jodi integrated my many music requests along with requests from guests (that were on my "acceptable" list of course!) and her own picks. Literally a month after the wedding I was still receiving compliments about the music selections and how fun the DJ was! Jodi used colored lights and a disco ball later in the evening to enhance the dancing mood! She also found me several times in the night to inquire when I wanted to do certain things, like cake cutting, and money dance. I liked that she was willing to not have a strict time line and let us just have fun and "get around" to the specific tasks. Days after the wedding, Jodi posted some photos and also a link to our photographer's you tube video on her blog with a really nice write up of the wedding. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Jodi & Mark. I could not have asked for a better DJ and I am glad our guests agreed--we still hear that it was the best and most fun reception many of our friends have been to!

Jodi at Accents Unlimited was a great Wedding Planner. We hired her from the beginning to help plan our wedding for almost 2 years! We planned our Pittsburgh Wedding from Dallas Texas so needless to say her service was invaluable to us. She toured some reception locations for us to help us better make a decision. She gave great recomendations on the DJ we hired because we did not have enough time to interview them. She also came through for us at the last minute and got us a cake topper when the one we ordered on line did not arrive in time! She was very easy to work with and easy going. She also did our invitations, menu Cards and Programs and they all turned out great. This was a great help. She designed them and put them together for us. All we had to do was stuff and address the envelopes. All of our guests loved our invitations!

Jodi did a great job on our wedding. Everything was absolutely wonderful and we got compliment after compliment on every little detail of our wedding. She was always on top of making appointments with vendors, getting invitations out on time, and I really valued her opinion when making some of the decisions I needed to make with the planning. Jodi also did our invitations and I got so many calls and texts the day our friends and family got them in the mail saying how great they were. We did our wedding a bit differently, with a private church ceremony on Friday and our reception on Saturday and Jodi did everything I expected of her plus some. She took care of everything from making sure the vendors were checked in on time to making sure the flowers stayed fresh for the reception the next day. She was great and I wouldn't have thought of half the things she thought to do to make my wedding the best day of my life.

We had a different kind of wedding; a picnic with a 60's theme with karaoke instead of dancing (except for a few traditional wedding line dances). Jodi and her husband were low key but kept the day running smoothly; I was worried that only my husband and I and the bridal party (who had orders to sing) would participate, but was I wrong. It had to be Jodi's influence, since we didn't serve alcohol. During lunch and in the few non singing moments she played the 60's tunes that I had requested. I was most impressed with the way she managed to get in the traditional line dances the chicken dance, YMCA, cha-cha slide, etc. and then easily went back into the 60's karaoke songs. I had more people tell me that they had never had more fun at a wedding- and Jodi and her husband were a big part of that fun. I highly recommend her DJ and her karaoke services to anyone.

I originally found Accents Unlimited on here (weddingwire.com) while looking for wedding invitations. When I came across Jodi's work, I noticed that her invitations were much different than what I had seen on other sites. I called her on a Sunday and she met with me that evening when I told her I was going to be leaving town that night. After meeting with Jodi, we decided to order our invitations through her. She designed everything but I was able to give her input/feedback. Through Accents Unlimited, I was able to choose colors to match my wedding color scheme. She even did original things on the invitations like designed a monogram just for us and put an outline of the Pittsburgh skyline in the background of my invites. She was in constant communication with me throughout the designing process. She had ideas to make the RSVP collection process easier too! Needless to say, the invitations came out beautifully and we got SO MANY compliments on them! Additionally, we decided to use Jodi for our wedding ceremony coordinator. She met with my mom and me two times before the wedding to go over everything and came to rehearsal. The day of our wedding, she made sure everyone had the correct flowers, helped the guys get their flowers pinned on, got everyone down the aisle, and basically made sure everything ran smoothly. Lastly, Jodi designed these really original booklets for us to put in our hotel guest bags. They basically had fun facts about Pittsburgh, where to dine, things to see, etc. in them. We also got many compliments on them! Jodi also had many other ideas for us for the ceremony/reception. I would definitely recommend Jodi for your special day! :) ~ Jen

I hired Jodi Colella of "Accents Unlimited" to act as DJ and partial planning coordinator for my daughter's wedding about 11 months before the wedding. First, as a DJ, she was wonderful! My daughter and her now husband have kind of quirky taste in music, and Jodi accomodated their wishes perfectly, but added in music that she chose that would appeal to the wide variety of guests of all ages. She was able to "read the crowd" and their taste perfectly. My daughter and I were also very pleased with the classy way she kept the reception moving. She was professional, had no "shtick", and was thoroughly entertaining. As a "partial" planning coordinator, Jodi was indispensible. I originally planned on doing everything myself, but found that the task was overwhelming. Jodi assisted me in every step of the process, helping to find vendors that fit well into my somewhat limited budget, yet were wonderful themselves. She thought to ask questions that I would never have thought to ask. Toward the end, when there was some confusion with one of the vendors as to what we had agreed upon, Jodi handled all of that. It was very calming for me to have her take care of things the day of the wedding. She made sure everything was set to go properly, handled any last minute confusion, and generally just kept everything running smoothly. I highly recommend Jodi Colella's services both as a DJ and as a wedding coordinator, whether you choose full, partial, or day of coordination. Jodi saved me money in the long run with some of her recommendations, and saved my sanity throughout the process!

We hired Jodi Colella from Accents Unlimited to DJ our wedding reception this past June. We had an informal picnic type gathering at a state park. Jodi and her husband made the day one to remember. They kept everything upbeat and fun. They provided a wide variety of music and had every song my guests requested. The only downside was that it didn't last as long as we would have liked....THE PARK CLOSED :( I would definitely recommend them and would hire them again in a heartbeat. They also provided karaoke which my guests could not get enough of.

Jodi really was able to help me out in the middle of a busy school semester in getting my invitations done and ready and she also saved me tons of money on the printer and by assembling my invitations. I donÂ’t think I ever would have had my invites out on time if Jodi didnÂ’t help. She also ran my rehearsal and everything went really smoothly. Jodi is much more responsive than I am. I was so busy during my last semester of grad school that Jodi would email me and call me before I even thought of something. As someone who was formerly in the wedding industry, Jodi was really prompt and the most likely of any of my vendors to get right back to me, always within 24 hours and even less sometimes as she is available from her Blackberry. Jodi always seemed very professional and so did her assistant Ellen. Jodi was back to work about a week after having her baby, so I consider that very professional! When I booked Jodi, she was the lowest cost DOC out there and still is very competitively priced. You would be hard pressed to find a cheaper DOC that also runs the rehearsal. I also am so glad that Jodi did my invite creation for a very low price. It was totally worth it to get a custom product for so low of a price. Jodi is very flexible and keeps up on the latest ideas. She is not the type of lady who got married years ago and wants to cover everything with tulleÂ…unless of course you are the kind of bride that wants that. Jodi didnÂ’t get married very long ago at all and really keeps up on the latest trends so the wedding looks modern and fresh, not dated. It is much better to have Jodi set up the reception site youÂ’re your mom or mother-in-law, since they probably are unaware of half the things that go into a wedding nowadays. The day of my rehearsal, Jodi already had many things set up for the following day. She also took care of the license for me the day of the wedding; I know I would have forgotten about it. I had a limited time to set up my reception and ceremony area (less than two hours) and I had boxes and boxes of DIY decorations I made. Jodi and Ellen made sure everything was set up and looked perfect. No little detail was forgotten; our sweetheart table and ceremony site looked especially great. At the end of the night, it was great to have help packing up the vehicle. For the price, you canÂ’t beat the service. I got tons of compliments on my invitations, which Jodi created and assembled. If you are a DIY bride, you need to think about who is going to decorate and put out all of your homemade itemsÂ…it shouldnÂ’t be you, you need to focus on getting married! And it shouldnÂ’t be your family. Let them attend as guests. And it shouldnÂ’t be your bridesmaids, let them have fun, not work! Do yourself a favor and hire a professional like Accents Unlimited to put out all of your items that you created over the past few months.

Without Jodi, I think I would have lost my mind. I had Jodi for partial planning, and picked her up about 6 months before my wedding. She gave me great ideas, and great vendor contacts. Throught the time we spent together, Jodi became more like a friend than a wedding vendor. Her help the day of the wedding was far above my expectations. She made everything go over smoothly and kept me on a timeline. I don't think I would have survived wedding planning if it wasn't for her!
