Edward Paul Macko

I’ve been involved in the arts for a long time. Since I was about five, I think.

I’ve painted the landscape, carved stone, molded clay, done murals,
and made music. Professionally, I’ve enjoyed a career in the world of advertising ... and still do. It’s been my job to tell the stories, with both words and pictures, of companies, hospitals, colleges and universities, and lately, individuals.

A few years back, a friend asked me if I’d help him shoot a wedding.
“A wedding?” I asked. “Do I have to wear a tux?” He laughed and said “no,” so I said “okay.” The rest of the story is what you see on this site.

Well, part of it anyway. Since then, I’ve shot weddings from Pittsburgh to Florida, to Chicago and back to Pittsburgh. Even alongside a mountain lake. I’ve covered weddings with 450 guests to weddings with as few as 80.
There is so much more to show than exists here.

My simple desire is to give you pictures that will tell your story, a story
about the best day of your life. And to tell it vividly.

Then I’ll have yet another story to tell, too.
